A model of the first South Australian multi-purpose diesel-electric locomotive. Each bogie is fitted with two traction motors with final chain drive to all wheels with layshafts. Air brakes and horn. Finished in S.A.R. livery of silver with red band.

This Locomotive has full MU control.

900 was a broad gauge diesel locomotive with A1A-A1A wheel arrangement, built by the South Australian Railways. It entered service 10/09/1951 named Lady Norrie. In July 1985 it was withdrawn from service. On 18/08/1985 it was delivered to the Mile End Railway Museum. In October 1988 the loco was sent to Melbourne to be displayed at Austeam88, after the event it was relocated to Port Dock Station Museum in Port Adelaide.
