The Way & Works Department The track consists of 14 lb/yd. l.b. rail and is laid to a minimum radius of 18m. The track gauge is 184mm ( 7 1/4 inches ) and the main route length is 2km plus 0.6 km of alternative paths. Some of the lineside features are the 45m long main station with three platforms, part of which is covered by a canopy roof, another two wayside stations, various bridges, two seperate carriage shed/workshop complexes, two tunnels, two signal boxes, and extensive sidings totalling some 1.2km in length. |
