We run on Victorian public holidays. These Public holidays are:
Australia Day, Easter Monday,Queens Birthday,
Boxing Day(when not falling on a Saturday - Note: in 2011 we are operating 11-5 !)
Important note:
- DVR is NOT running 27th & 28th December 2011, the Substitute Public Holidays for Christmas and Boxing day..

DVR does not Operate on

- Labor Day (Victorian)
- Melbourne Cup Day (Victorian)
- Any Substitute Public Holiday

- DVR may operate at other times by Special arrangement.
- Special train bookings are available.
- Check the Special Events for extra public runs.
- The railway reserves the right to vary the running times and/or motive power.
- Steam locomotives cannot be operated on days of total fire ban.
(This ban does not include diesel & electric locomotives.)
