Welcome to the D.V.R's
Signal & Telegraph Branch.
The Signal & Telegraph Branch is maintained by
a group of members with an interest in Signalling and Electronics. All
signalling on the D.V.R is based on Victorian Railways Prototype and practices
including:
Two Position Semaphore, Two Position Light,
Three Position Light, Three Position Searchlight and under construction
is a new improved version of a Three Position Upper Quadrant Signal.
Both Home,Distant and Automatic signals are represented along with Lineside accessories
including operating Level Crossings (Working Boom Barriers are in planning
stages).
The D.V.R has two signalboxes, representing
Lever operation with electro/mechanical interlocking, & switch operated
Relay interlocking.
