DVR is located in Eltham Lower Park, amidst a natural bushland setting. The park has a range of facilities including picnic sites, car parking, children's adventure playground, barbecue area and toilets.

The Jack Tatum Memorial Picnic Site can be booked in advance for groups and social organisations from the railway.
Please note buses (minibuses excepted) are not encouraged into the Park as there are no turning facilities.
